Doodora Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 3, 2026

Overview

Unary Works LLC ("Doodora," "we," "us," or "our") provides Doodora, an AI drawing app for children, together with our website and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when families use our Services. As used in this Privacy Policy, "personal information" means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual. Your use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.

Doodora is designed for children and families. We try to collect only what is needed to run the app, keep it safe, support accounts and purchases, and help families control their data. We do not sell personal information, we do not serve third-party ads, and we do not use children's personal information for behavioral advertising.

If you are a child, please use Doodora with your parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or guardian, this policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us.

The Services are operated by Unary Works LLC.

Information We Collect

Account information. If an account is created, we may collect an email address, authentication information, display name or nickname, account identifiers, login status, and subscription status.

Creative content. We may process drawings, brush strokes, canvas snapshots, uploaded images selected by the user, text prompts, voice-derived transcripts or instructions, AI replies, generated images, artwork titles, and saved gallery items. In the current Android pre-release, saved gallery artwork is stored locally on the user's device by default rather than being synced to Doodora's cloud artwork storage.

Voice and microphone data. When a user chooses voice mode, microphone audio is used to recognize the user's instruction and support the real-time AI conversation. Doodora is designed not to keep voice audio recordings after the request or voice session has been processed. Voice-derived text, such as transcripts, drawing instructions, AI replies, and generated prompts, is used to provide the requested voice and AI drawing features and is not intentionally stored by Doodora as a persistent app record. We may retain limited technical metadata, such as event type, timing, token usage, error details, and text length, to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

Purchase information. If purchases or subscriptions are offered through Google Play, we may receive product identifiers, purchase tokens, subscription status, transaction status, and related verification information. We do not receive full payment card numbers.

Device and technical information. We may collect app version, device type, operating system, IP address, server timestamps, crash or error logs, security logs, and similar diagnostics needed to run and protect the app.

Local app data. Doodora may store drafts, cached artwork, saved gallery artwork, settings, and recent work on the user's device so the drawing experience is fast and can continue smoothly. Local device data may remain on the device unless it is deleted in the app, the account deletion flow is completed in the app, or the app is removed from the device.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide drawing, voice, and AI creation features; save artwork locally on the user's device; manage accounts, sign-in, subscriptions, and purchases; provide customer support; keep the app secure; detect abuse or unsafe prompts; improve reliability and performance; comply with law; and honor parent or user deletion requests. Drawings, canvas snapshots, prompts, voice-derived instructions, and generated artwork may be transmitted to Doodora and service providers when needed to provide AI drawing, speech recognition, text-to-speech, safety, or support features, but Doodora does not intentionally keep voice audio recordings, voice-derived transcripts, generated prompts, or generated AI artwork as persistent app records after a request or voice session is processed.

We ask children and families not to include real names, addresses, school names, phone numbers, or other sensitive personal details in prompts, voice instructions, drawings, or uploaded images.

Service Providers

We may share information with service providers that process data for us and only for the purposes described in this policy. Depending on the features enabled, these providers may include authentication, database, local or cloud storage, cloud hosting, AI, speech recognition, image generation, text-to-speech, app store billing, security, diagnostics, and email support providers.

Examples of providers that may process or maintain data for Doodora include Supabase for authentication and database services, Google services such as Gemini and Google Play for AI or billing features, speech and AI providers such as Alibaba Cloud DashScope, Volcengine Ark/Doubao, OpenRouter, or similar model providers where enabled, and hosting or support providers used to operate the service. If a provider list materially changes, we will update this policy.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share microphone audio, prompts, drawings, or generated artwork for third-party advertising.

Children's Privacy and Parent Choices

Parents and legal guardians may contact us at dev@unaryworks.io to review, correct, or delete a child's personal information, revoke consent, or ask us to stop further collection or use of the child's information. We will take reasonable steps to verify that the requester is the child's parent or legal guardian before providing access or making changes.

We do not require a child to provide more personal information than reasonably necessary to use Doodora's creative features. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child without required permission, we will delete it or seek appropriate parent or guardian consent.

Account and Data Deletion

You can request account deletion and deletion of associated data by emailing dev@unaryworks.io. If the app provides an in-app deletion flow, you may also start deletion from the account settings area.

When an account deletion request is confirmed, we will delete or de-identify the account and associated server-side account data, purchase status records, and any server-side creative content linked to the account, unless we need to keep limited information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute-resolution reasons. If the deletion flow is completed in the app, Doodora is designed to also remove locally saved artwork and artwork cache for that account on that device. If deletion is requested only by email or from another device, we may not be able to erase files that exist only on a user's own device; removing the app or using the in-app deletion flow can remove local app data from that device.

If we can identify an active Google Play subscription connected to the account, Doodora will try to cancel future renewals before completing in-app account deletion. This cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already paid for the current billing period. If we cannot identify or cancel the subscription through the app, you may need to cancel it through Google Play.

Retention

Locally saved artwork is kept on the user's device until the user deletes it, completes account deletion in the app, or removes the app from the device. Server-side account information is kept while the account is active or until the user or parent deletes it or requests deletion. Voice audio recordings, voice-derived transcripts, generated prompts, and generated AI artwork are not intentionally kept by Doodora as persistent app records after the request or voice session is processed. Limited technical metadata, logs, and diagnostics are kept only as long as reasonably needed for service operation, safety, support, legal compliance, and the purposes described in this policy.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access, use secure transmission where required, and keep data access tied to service needs.

International Processing

Doodora and its service providers may process information in countries or regions where they operate. Privacy laws may vary by location, but we apply the protections described in this policy to the information we handle.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required.
